I went ahead a bit the bullet and bought an Oral-B CrossAction toothbrush yesterday. It is a milestone in the evolution of toothbrush design. The cross-hatched bristles and extra-long PowerTip bristles really seem to get into all the nooks and crannies, and it has a big, grippy handle which is most comfortable to use. It’s wonderful that we live in an age where toothbrushes have become so perfectly evolved, don’t you think?

Ah the joys of oral.B crossaction.Reminds me of brushing really was brushing.
Brushing? Pah! I won’t be happy until I can swill a cupletful of bacteria that scrape and digest the sugary deposits, then expire willingly, breaking down into spearmint-and-fluoride-flavoured molecular whitening compounds. That give me cool dreams.

Dear Lord, have you actually been spammed by a man searching blogspace for references to toothbrushes?? I myself use a cross-action like the one you describe, but of course, being in America I have the one with the 256 kilobit encryption.
Also, in Britain the phrase “clean [one's] teeth” is often heard. In the US, the only verb allowed in that construct is “brush”.
