And I never would have heard their strange little wonderful songs if it weren't for you. When we were kids, my sibs and I made a lot of noise, ridiculous noises, squeaky noises, repetitive honking noises, usually in the car on long trips, which is why my parents are possibly insane now. Anyway, sometimes it would actually come together and sound like a little vocal orchestra, and we'd get a good noise groove going, and it was almost holy magic. Sort of like the best moments from Animal Collective. Animal Collective without the "KIDS!! THAT IS ENOUGH. Be quiet NOW or you'll get out and WALK. I'M GOING TO DRIVE US ALL INTO A DITCH IF YOU KEEP THAT UP." Animal Collective feels good to me too. And I never would have heard their strange little wonderful songs if it weren’t for you.
